Cookie Policy — Ibiza Charter Yachts
Last updated:
This page explains which cookies, local storage entries and similar technologies are used on unanocheenlamovida.es, operated under the brand Ibiza charter yachts, and why. It applies to anyone browsing the site to look at our yachts, request a quote or get in touch, and is written to comply with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI-CE).
Storage used on this site
- Cookie-notice acknowledgement (local storage)
- Purpose: remembers that you closed the cookie banner, so it is not shown again on the same device. Type: local storage, set by this site. Duration: stays until you clear your browser storage.
- Selected yacht (session storage)
- Purpose: remembers which yacht you clicked on so the enquiry form can be prefilled for you. Type: session storage, set by this site. Duration: deleted automatically when the browser tab is closed or when the form is sent.
- Visit identifiers (local storage)
- Purpose: random visitor and session identifiers used only for our own first-party visit counting, so we can see which pages and channels bring enquiries. Type: local storage, set by this site. Duration: expires 30 days after your last visit; can be cleared manually at any time.
- Google Fonts (fonts.google.com)
- Purpose: loads the typefaces used on the site. Google receives the visitor's IP address when the font files are requested. Type: external resource request, not a cookie set for us. Duration: not applicable.
- intl-tel-input via jsDelivr CDN
- Purpose: loads the library that formats and validates the phone number field in our enquiry form. The CDN provider receives the visitor's IP address when the script is requested. Type: external resource request, not a cookie set for us. Duration: not applicable.
- WhatsApp (opened after a click)
- Purpose: opens a WhatsApp conversation with our team. Nothing is placed on this site when the button is shown; the click itself (page, referrer, language, prefilled message) is logged in our own booking system before WhatsApp opens. Type: outbound link, governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy once opened. Duration: not applicable to this site.
What this policy covers
unanocheenlamovida.es is a static website presenting the thirty yachts, sport-yachts, day-boats and superyachts we charter in Ibiza, with day rates from €2,200. It does not take payments online; every charter is quoted and confirmed by email, phone or WhatsApp after you send an enquiry. This policy lists every piece of browser storage and every outside resource the site loads, and explains exactly what each one does.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small piece of information a website can ask your browser to keep so the site can recognise your browser later. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way: a website asks your browser to hold a small value on your device, either for a defined period (local storage) or only until the tab is closed (session storage). Under LSSI-CE article 22.2, any such storage that is not strictly necessary to deliver a service you requested needs your prior consent, unless it is used only to measure traffic on the site itself.
No advertising or social-media trackers here
We do not install any cookie, pixel or tag belonging to an advertising network, a social network or a third-party analytics company. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no retargeting tag and no cross-site tracking of any kind on unanocheenlamovida.es. The only measurement running on the site is a small counter built for this site, hosted on this same domain rather than on any outside server, described below.
How we count visits to our own site
A first-party counter running on unanocheenlamovida.es keeps a basic picture of how the site is used, without installing a cookie. For each visit it notes which pages are opened, how long each page is viewed, the referring website, any campaign parameters in the link such as a UTM tag or an ad click id, the device type, browser, operating system, screen size, browser language and the country worked out from the IP address. The IP address itself is discarded and not stored.
If you send an enquiry or tap a WhatsApp or phone link, that action is linked to the same visit so we can see which page or channel led to the request. This linking relies on the visit identifiers described below rather than on a cookie.
Entries stored in your browser
Three values are kept in your browser, listed in the table above: one local-storage entry so the cookie banner is not shown twice, one session-storage entry so the enquiry form can be prefilled with the yacht you looked at, and one local-storage entry holding the random visit identifiers described in the previous section. None of these entries contains your name, email, phone number or any other contact detail, and the visit identifiers are automatically removed 30 days after your last visit.
Fonts, scripts and WhatsApp buttons
Two resources are loaded from outside our own domain to make the site work properly. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces shown on every page; Google receives the visitor's IP address when the font files are requested. The jsDelivr content delivery network supplies the intl-tel-input library used to format the phone field in our enquiry form; jsDelivr likewise receives the visitor's IP address when the script is fetched. Neither of them sets a cookie for us.
A WhatsApp button on the site does nothing until you click it. Clicking logs the click itself in our booking system and then opens a WhatsApp chat; the conversation that follows runs entirely on WhatsApp, operated by Meta, under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not ours.
Managing storage and future changes
Every current browser lets you view, block or delete local storage, session storage and cookies, usually from the privacy or site-settings section of the browser menu. Blocking storage may stop the enquiry form from remembering a previously selected yacht, but it will not prevent you from sending an enquiry or reaching us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
If we ever introduce an optional cookie, for example for a booking feature that needs one, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it is set. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected]. If you believe your rights under Spanish data protection and e-commerce law have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
